Understanding the Mulch Calculator
A mulch calculator converts bed dimensions and depth into cubic feet, cubic yards, and bag count. Depth is the input that matters most, and both too little and too much cause problems, which is less obvious than it sounds.

The deeper context most people miss
Depth beyond about four inches becomes counterproductive rather than simply excessive.
